Hypereosinophilia syndrome with severe cutaneous manifestations, a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge: A Case Report

Hypereosinophilic syndrome is a rare disorder (1). However, the low prevalence of this disorder appears to be because of underdiagnosis. The underreporting of the disease is due to the diagnostic dilemma and the lack of a single guideline on which there is consensus The complexity of hypereosinophilic syndrome arises from its diverse clinical presentation and the need for a thorough evaluation to establish a diagnosis. Given the complexities involved, heightened awareness of hypereosinophilic syndrome among healthcare providers is essential for timely diagnosis and treatment.
