Gladys Velarde

Gladys P. Velarde is a professor of medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville and a board-certified cardiologist at UF Health Jacksonville. She serves as the medical director of the UF Health Women's Cardiovascular Program. She previously worked on the faculty at the University of Rochester, where she founded the Strong Women’s Heart Health Program.
