Anders Jeppsson

Anders Jeppsson is Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Gothenburg and Chief Physician (överläkare) at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden, and adjunct professor at the University of Iceland. He trained in cardiothoracic surgery at Sahlgrenska, completed a research fellowship in cardiothoracic transplantation at the Mayo Clinic in 1997, and received his PhD in 1998. His work includes ESC/EACTS guideline task forces on myocardial revascularization and valvular heart disease, and clinical research on bleeding, hemostasis, and antithrombotic therapy after cardiac surgery.
