Prof. dr. Isabella Kardys, MD PhD, is a cardiovascular epidemiologist and full professor at the Department of Cardiology, Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, Netherlands. She earned her MD and PhD at Erasmus MC and an MSc in Clinical Epidemiology at NIHES, with part of her PhD research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Her research focuses on acquired cardiovascular disease, serial biomarker assessment, machine learning, and e-cardiology.
