Bowles, PhD, RN, FAAN, FACMI is Vice President & Director of Research at VNS Health and van Ameringen Chair in Nursing Excellence & Professor of Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Her research focuses on the use of information technology and health informatics to improve transitional care, post-acute referrals, and outcomes for older adults, including those with heart failure.
