This Teaching Paper introduces a Cultural Awareness Assessment Tool designed to evaluate and strengthen organizational and individual capacity for cultural competence. It provides structured self-assessment, organizational evaluation, cultural knowledge exercises, and reflection activities that help organizations translate awareness into action. A case study shows how a U.S.-based non-profit used the tool to improve inclusivity and cross-cultural engagement, increasing trust and satisfaction among immigrant communities.
