This article presents the concept of creating a municipal geographic information system (GIS) based on the National Spatial Data System (NSPD). The advantages of using ASPD as a basis for building a municipal GIS, as well as solutions for data integration and interaction, are considered. The key functionality of the system being developed and the prospects for its application to solve local government problems are described. The authors analyze the advantages of this approach, including improving management efficiency, reducing the cost of creating and maintaining a system, as well as improving the quality and accessibility of spatial data. The description of the architectural solutions and functionality of the future system illustrates the possibilities for solving problems in cadastral issues, territorial planning, monitoring and data analysis.
