The study aims to analyse the factors influencing acceptance of EdTech, the service quality dimensions of EdTech startups in India and the sentiments of people towards EdTech startups in India. The study used quantitative research for first and second objective and qualitative research for objective third. The study used multiple linear regression analysis technique to measure the impact of factors as per UTAUT model on EdTech acceptance, uni-variate analysis to analyse five service quality dimensions of startups as per SERVQUAL model, and sentiment analysis technique using Azure Machine Learning MS Excel add-in to study sentiments towards EdTech startups. The study concluded that only facilitating conditions has a significant positive impact on EdTech acceptance. The study stated that reliability is the most important service quality dimension of EdTech which is followed by empathy, tangibles, responsiveness, and assurance. In context to sentiment analysis, the findings suggested that majority of users have negative sentiments towards startups. This study makes several theoretical contributions to the literature on EdTech. The findings of this study would be beneficial for EdTech startups looking to capture market of border area districts of India since this study has used opinions of students studying in colleges of border area district i.e. Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand.
