As pivotal energy hubs in China, Northeast China and Inner Mongolia hold strategic importance yet grapple with challenges including energy dependency, economic restructuring pressures, and ecological fragility. This study examines the energy-economy-environment system in the region, employing the entropy weight method to analyze 2018-2024 data. The findings reveal sustained growth in regional coordination yet pronounced inter-provincial disparities, compounded by structural imbalances and inadequate synergy. To address these issues, the research proposes province-specific differentiated policies, supported by inter- provincial coordination meetings and third-party evaluations. These measures align with regional revitalization plans to mitigate risks, providing crucial support for sustainable development in resource- dependent regions.
