Abstract In this paper, we study the compressible Navier–Stokes equations with revised Maxwell's law in three‐dimensional space. When the shear viscosity coefficient and the shear relaxation time are both zero, by using some ansatzs, we present some special analytical solutions for the spherically symmetric case and cylindrically symmetric case, respectively. Some qualitative properties of the constructed solutions are given.
