ABSTRACT Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) in cholesteric liquid crystals (CLCs) represents a frontier in dynamic chiroptical materials, combining high dissymmetry factors with on‐demand tunability for advanced photonic applications. This review systematically outlines the fundamental mechanisms enabling dynamic CPL modulation in CLC systems, encompassing external field‐induced phase transitions, helical pitch engineering, supramolecular handedness inversion, and dichroic dye‐mediated polarization control. Building on these mechanisms, we summarize recent strategies for real‐time manipulation of CPL emission wavelength, dissymmetry factor ( g lum ), and polarization handedness. The resulting stimuli‐responsive systems are further explored for their applications in chiroptical switches, information encryption, and anti‐counterfeiting technologies. Finally, we discuss current scientific challenges and future perspectives in the development of intelligent CLC‐based CPL materials, providing a roadmap for future research in this evolving field.
