Proposal for manufacturing method in which ferromagnetic micro-steel filaments are deterministically oriented and spacially organized inside a polymeric matrix during curing using controlled EM fields. Optionally scaffolded by a pre-placed mesh or lattice, by exploiting time-varying and spatially graded EM fields within a defined gelation window, reinforcement topology can be programmed prior lock-in, yelding anisotropic, damage-tolerant, and multifunctional armor-grade composites ("plasteel").
