Abstract

Keeping the present demands and thefuture in mind, changes were made in thecurriculum of the National Council ofEducational Research and Training through theNational Education Policy 2020, the changeswere related to their learning methods and theinterrelationships between various subjects.Which was about their abstract thinking, logicalthinking and competency based educationsystem. The objective of the current educationis related to comparison and analysis of thesyllabus of Mathematics of class 6. This paperexamines changes in content, competency-based education, arts, environment, andattitudes. Evaluates the changes in thecurriculum as per the National CurriculumFramework 2023 and also evaluates the possiblechanges in the students. This paper juxtaposesthe revised syllabus against the old syllabus tounderstand issues related to assessment,teaching methods and learners’ main progress.
