Influence of three chemical disinfection protocols on the mechanical, physical, and cytotoxic properties of additively manufactured complete denture bases with and without soft reline resin: An in vitro study
The aim is to investigate how different chemical disinfection protocols affect the properties of denture bases made through additive manufacturing.
Conducted an in vitro study comparing three disinfection protocols.
Evaluated mechanical, physical, and cytotoxic effects on denture bases.
Included both additively manufactured denture bases with and without soft reline resin.
Glutaraldehyde treatment best preserved mechanical integrity among tested protocols.
Other disinfection methods showed less effectiveness in maintaining denture properties.
Abstract
Among the tested protocols, glutaraldehyde best preserved the mechanical integrity of SLA-relined dentures.
