ABSTRACT We propose a dual‐view integral imaging display comprising a flat display panel, a polarizer parallax barrier, a pinhole array, and polarizer glasses. Two types of elemental images are vertically alternated on the flat display panel. The vertical pitch of the elemental image is half its horizontal pitch. Two types of polarizer slits polarize the light beams emitted from two types of elemental images, respectively. Two types of polarized light beams pass through the pinhole array and generate 2 three‐dimensional (3D) images with uniform voxels. The observers wearing polarizer glasses 1 watch the 3D image 1, while the observers wearing polarizer glasses 2 watch the 3D image 2. The proposed dual‐view integral imaging display expands the horizontal viewing angle by 6°.
