The 2025 RCPA consensus guideline recommends routine molecular testing of key driver alterations in early non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Since 2020, the Northern Sydney Local Health District has implemented next-generation sequencing using a 50-gene panel for all resected lung cancers.
