This paper proposes that time originates at a single hinge event and expands in two opposite entropic directions, forming a symmetric manifold rather than a linear history. This reinterpretation preserves all local physics while reframing the Big Bang as a branch internal stabilization point rather than the origin of reality. The model explains why deep space observations appear to show “the past”: they are cross branch views of the opposite temporal expansion, not backward temporal views. This framework resolves several cosmological paradoxes—including the horizon problem, entropy gradients, and the singularity boundary—without modifying general relativity or quantum mechanics. It offers a structurally coherent alternative to one arrow cosmology by placing physics inside a larger, symmetric temporal architecture.
