Export Dengue fever is a viral illness that is transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes and is common in tropical and subtropical areas around the world. Acute abdomen in dengue patients is a diagnostic challenge, as the symptoms are often non-specific and easily missed. In this report, we present two cases of dengue fever presenting with acute abdomen; one case of acute appendicitis and the other of acute calculous cholecystitis. These cases highlight the importance of considering dengue as a differential diagnosis in patients presenting with symptoms of an acute abdomen and the need for a timely and accurate method of diagnosis to prevent misdiagnosis and unnecessary surgeries.
