Key Points

  • The research aims to explore black hole entropy as an alternative to particle dark matter in explaining galactic dynamics.
  • Developed a model based on black hole entropy distribution as an information field.
  • Tested the model on five galaxies to derive the Baryonic Tully-Fisher Relation.
  • Analyzed the relationship between galaxy mass and rotation curves using first principles.
  • Evaluated model accuracy by calculating mean error.
  • Predicted redshift-dependent acceleration constants.
  • Successfully derived the Baryonic Tully-Fisher Relation with a mean error of 5.9%.
  • Model predicts a relationship between acceleration constant and redshift.
  • Demonstrates effectiveness in producing flat galactic rotation curves.

Abstract

We propose that black hole entropy, distributed as aninformation field with density ρIF (r) = ρ₀/r², providesan alternative to particle dark matter. This field naturallyproduces flat galactic rotation curves and derives theBaryonic Tully-Fisher Relation (BTFR) v⁴ = a₀·G·M fromfirst principles using the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy. We test the model on 5 galaxies with 5. 9% mean error. The model predicts a redshift-dependent accelerationconstant a₀ (z) ∝ H (z), testable by upcoming surveys.
