This article aims to improve the performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cell under low-humidity conditions, using polyacrylonitrile(PAN) as main material and preparing PAN fiber membranes through electrospinning. We explored preparation process, pre-oxidation process and carbonized process of PAN fiber membrane, and use carbonized fiber membrane as microporous layer. We analyzed physical properties such as surface appearance, surface roughness, and pore size distribution of microporous layer, and tested power density and polarization curve. It has been found that the fiber membrane prepared by electrospinning as microporous layer has better performance than GDL29BC.
