Abstract Extra‐nodal lymphoma of the female genital system in dogs is extremely rare. In this case report, we describe a case of genital lymphoma with involvement of the regional lymph nodes in a 10‐year‐old, female, neutered Samoyed. Dog presented with a 4‐week history of an oedematous and erythematous vulva. Additionally, on clinical examination, popliteal and inguinal lymphadenomegaly and a right‐sided vulvar mass were detected. Cytology of the popliteal lymph node and vulvar mass revealed a monomorphic population of large lymphocytes; flow cytometry performed on the enlarged lymph nodes confirmed the diagnosis of high‐grade T‐cell lymphoma. Due to worsening of the clinical signs and concerns regarding quality of life, the owners elected for euthanasia while the results were pending. This is an unusual presentation of T‐cell lymphoma of the vulva and regional lymph nodes and represents an important differential diagnosis for oedema of external genitals and local lymphadenomegaly in female dogs.
