This letter comments on the recent review by Gandolfi et al. on adipose tissue-derived therapies, commending their comprehensive overview while expanding the discussion to emphasize the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI). We highlight how AI integrates multi-omics datasets to reveal molecular networks governing adipogenesis, enables automated image analysis for accurate assessment of adipocyte differentiation, and supports donor-specific potency evaluation. Beyond technical applications, AI offers tools for predictive modeling, patient stratification, and regulatory harmonization, thereby addressing current barriers to reproducibility and international standardization. By integrating biological, technological, and regulatory perspectives, we argue that AI will be a critical driver shaping the future of adipose-derived therapies in regenerative medicine.
