Digital health platforms have emerged as a potential solution for delivering mental health services in South Africa, particularly in urban areas such as Johannesburg. However, their implementation and effectiveness vary significantly. Qualitative interviews were conducted with stakeholders including healthcare providers, patients, and technology developers. Data was analysed using thematic analysis. User engagement varied widely; while some users reported high satisfaction, others faced difficulties in accessing the platform due to technological barriers and lack of awareness about its benefits. Digital health platforms show promise for expanding mental health service delivery but require tailored strategies to address user adoption challenges.
