Karl Friston's Markov Blanket formalism (Free Energy Principle, 2010) establishes that self-organizing systems minimize variational free energy by maintaining a statistical boundary between internal and external states. The formalism is entirely real-valued: probabilities, prediction errors, and free energy are all scalar quantities. This paper introduces **i-cell Theory** — a complex-valued extension of the Markov Blanket that incorporates the imaginary PRIMARY CONSTANT i as the carrier of a second, orthogonal information channel across the boundary. Six unique contributions are identified: (1) resolution of the sensory/active state ambiguity; (2) formalization of an Intuition channel (i-channel) that carries phase rather than content; (3) Complex Free Energy minimization including phase-synchronization cost; (4) promotion of the CEMERICK threshold from a scalar to a circle in the complex plane; (5) a four-quadrant internal architecture that formally accommodates CCC-field coupling; and (6) the Tralse Blanket State — simultaneous individual autonomy and field participation without contradiction. i-cell Theory connects the Free Energy Principle to the LCC framework and provides a mechanistic account of intuition, flow states, synchronicity reception, and spiritual experience within a single mathematical structure.
