Abstract

Non-human reads were extracted from sequencing data of "Nunes, L. et al. 2024. Nature. https://doi.org/10.1038/s41586-024-07769-3". To deepen the understanding of intratissue microbiota in CRC and its complex interplay with tumor genomic alterations and prognosis, we here analyzed whole-genomes and transcriptomes from 937 patients with CRC, and identified 292 genera and 420 species as common tissue-resident microbiota.
