This work documents the technological evolution of Oromia Broadcasting Network (OBN), highlighting its transition from cassette-based linear editing systems to a fully digital, tapeless broadcast environment. It explains the adoption of centralized storage (Avid NEXIS), automation, intelligent workflows, and multi-platform broadcasting including TV, radio, and digital platforms. The publication was prepared for the inauguration of the OBN Media Complex in 2026 and is based on technical observation, interviews, and operational experience.
