Vibration performance of multiphase composite biomimetic sandwich plate is analysed in this study. The lamellar curve-based honeycomb cores have been developed and the shear properties of the cores are evaluated by alternative dynamic method and validated with numerical simulation. The elastic properties of the multiphase composite laminates are determined using experimental testing and compared with the modified Halpin Tsai analytical model. The python based finite element code is developed for the vibration analysis using PyMAPDL platform and verified with the experimental and literature data. Moreover, the parametric study has been carried out to study the impacts of different ply arrangements, support conditions, length to core height ratio, length to breadth ratio and carbon nanotubes weight percentages on the natural frequencies of the biomimetic sandwich plates. As an outcome of this research, the developed biomimetic core configurations can effectively replace conventional composite honeycomb sandwich panels used in aeronautical and marine structural applications, offering improved performance characteristics.
