And this strategy of "physical confinement", "chemical conversion" and "synergistic redox" can immobilize iodine physicochemically and accomplish multielectron transfer of Cu/I/V, leading to a coupled battery with a high voltage output, but circumventing the generation of unstable high-valent iodine species.
