Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is the most common childhood neurodevelopment disorder that is characterized by symptoms of inattention, distractibility, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. To support children with ADHD to overcome developmental challenges, innovative technologies such as Educational Robotics and Augmented Reality have been introduced. The use of these technologies can contribute to enhancing cognitive and social skills. This scoping review aims to map how both technologies have been applied to support social skills in children with ADHD and summarize reported outcomes. A comprehensive literature search was conducted in Springer Link, IEEE, MDPI, ERIC, PubMed/MEDLINE, Web of Science, and PsycINFO for studies published in either Greek or English from 2015 to the present. The review identified seven studies meeting the inclusion criteria, with sample sizes ranging from 1 to 59 participants. Findings indicate that robots and AR systems can enhance children's engagement, attention, concentration, motivation, positive behaviors, and emotional recognition. Despite these promising results, the limited number of studies and small sample sizes highlight the need for further research to confirm these effects.
