This report about Illinois school funding identifies an evidence-based model for funding schools. The biggest priority has been fully funding the model, to which substantial progress is being made. A continuing priority, attracting and retaining teachers, is also positively underway. Childcare funding and early childhood education are also receiving increasing attention and support.
