The study aims to explore the regulatory effects of microRNA-5590-3p in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and its interaction with HOXB2 and MYC.
Investigated the role of microRNA-5590-3p in HCC
Analyzed its target genes, HOXB2 and MYC
Assessed effects on cell proliferation, motility, and apoptosis.
miR-5590-3p significantly inhibited HCC cell proliferation and motility.
Induction of apoptosis was observed upon targeting HOXB2.
Suppression of MYC transcription was confirmed through targeted mechanisms.
Abstract
. In conclusion, miR‑5590‑3p may inhibit HCC cell proliferation and motility, and induce apoptosis by targeting HOXB2 and suppressing MYC transcription.
