The lubrication characteristics of a two-stroke engine have a significant impact on the overall lifespan of the engine. Under high load, the small end of the connecting rod is prone to wear. Based on the lubrication and dynamic characteristics of the harsh working environment of the connecting rod small end bearing, and considering the multi field coupling effects of fluid solid heat such as bearing elasticity/thermal deformation, micro convex contact, material temperature change efficiency, lubricating oil thermal effect, and shaft dynamics, a dynamic and frictional analysis model of the coupled vibration characteristics of the bearing was established. The transient Thermo-elasto-hydrodynamic (TEHD) lubrication characteristics of the bearing were analyzed, and the real-time lubrication state of the bearing oil film was accurately solved. The bearing region of the lubricating oil film was accurately obtained, and the mapping law of structural parameters such as oil supply boundary conditions, oil groove distribution characteristics, and radius clearance with the lubrication characteristics of the bearing was revealed. Targeted design schemes for improving the bearing surface, oil supply boundary, and clearance were proposed. After testing, the engine’s lubrication performance meets the standard and the engine operates normally under rated power testing conditions.
