Key Points
To evaluate the impact of patient selection and timing on the effectiveness of intra-arrest thrombolysis.
Randomized trial design assessing intra-arrest thrombolysis in critically selected patients
Timing of thrombolytic therapy was evaluated
Clinical outcomes were measured post-intervention
Intra-arrest thrombolysis significantly improved survival rates compared to standard treatment (HR=2.5, 95% CI 1.5-4.0, p=0.002)
Optimal patient selection led to higher rates of functional independence (OR=3.0, 95% CI 1.8-4.9, p<0.001)
Early timing of intervention resulted in reduced neurological impairment (RR=0.7, 95% CI 0.5-1.0, p=0.04)
