Infectious diseases pose a continuous threat to the health and sustainability of beef cattle farms. The implementation of effective biosecurity plans can reduce the spread of pathogens between and within beef farms. Educating beef producers on biosecurity through an interactive website is a cost-effective approach that can reach a wide audience. The present study aimed to evaluate beef producers’ engagement with an online biosecurity extension website to determine whether the platform provides timely and accessible biosecurity information relevant to disease prevention and farm management. Using Google Analytics, engagement metrics, such as active users, page views, event counts, engaged sessions, average session duration, and daily, weekly, and monthly engagement trends, were assessed over a 146-week period from February 17, 2023, to December 5, 2025. A total of 1,667 active users, 2,304 sessions, and an average of 1.49 pages per session were recorded. Most users accessed the site via desktop computers (n = 1,119). Organic search attracted the highest number of users and generated the greatest number of events, suggesting strong search engine visibility and that the biosecurity educational content was relevant to user needs. High levels of website interaction were indicated by the event counts per active user for general engagement (2.235) and file downloads (3.717) of downloadable biosecurity resources. The average engagement time of 3 minutes and 9 seconds suggests task-oriented user behavior. The module on endemic and emerging infectious diseases of cattle recorded the highest event count (2,712) and number of active users (n = 576), along with a moderate engagement time (58.6 seconds per active user), indicating that producers are proactive and willing to engage with information on disease threats. User engagement over the study period showed periodic peaks, suggesting decision‑driven access to biosecurity resources rather than routine daily use. The study findings regarding methods and website design may inform the development of future educational platforms intended for livestock producers.
