This technical report examines the EU-Brazil supplier evidence gap from the perspective of regulatory defensibility, buyer-readiness and audit-grade documentation. The report focuses on how European regulatory pressure, including supply-chain due diligence, deforestation risk, carbon data requirements and sustainability reporting expectations, is changing the commercial treatment of Brazilian suppliers connected to European value chains. The central argument is that supplier competitiveness will increasingly depend not only on operational performance, but on the ability to provide buyer-readable evidence. This includes traceability records, origin documentation, carbon-related data, product-level evidence, supplier controls and board-level documentation packages that can support procurement, compliance, finance and governance decisions. The report is intended for CFOs, boards, procurement teams, compliance officers, ESG leaders, Brazilian exporters and advisory professionals working with EU-Brazil supply-chain exposure.
