Abstract Composite pheochromocytomas are a rare subset of pheochromocytomas composed of chromaffin cell tumors and neurogenic tumors. Their clinical manifestations may be atypical for pheochromocytoma. Here, we present 3 cases that illustrate the broad spectrum of disease seen in composite pheochromocytomas. A high level of clinical suspicion is needed to diagnose composite pheochromocytomas given their rarity and diverse clinical presentations.
