Objective To investigate the secondary transmission cases from an imported malaria patient for providing the reference for the management of imported malaria cases.Methods The case investigation as well as the related foci survey were carried out by epidemiological methods.Result The first malaria vivax case was imported from Myanmar and the other 5 cases were the secondary transmission cases infected from the first one.Conclusion There was a point-like outbreak of the secondary transmission cases caused by an imported malaria vivax patient.
