Through altered crop productivity, climate change poses broader risks to food security, economic stability, and human health. The historical and predicted impacts of climate change on staplecrops like maize, rice, and wheat have been studied extensively at a global scale; however, limited studies exist on tropical fruit crops at smaller spatial scales. To address this gap, thisstudy investigates the relationship between climate and rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L.) yields across Thailand’s diverse geographic regions. Using historical data from 2014–2022, this research quantitatively examines the influence of growing season temperature and precipitation on rambutan yield. Results revealregional disparities in climate-yield relationships. These findings underscore the importance of climate-induced yield variability in tropical fruit production to inform location specific agricultural strategies.
