Bounded Interaction Dynamics (B.I.D.) is a framework for analyzing how asymmetric adaptive systems preserve or lose coherence under escalating scrutiny. The framework models interaction collapse as a state-transition process governed by coherence budget — the finite capacity of a system to maintain self-model consistency while managing asymmetric information, identity performance, and evaluative pressure. This paper introduces the B.I.D. taxonomy and formalizes key collapse mechanisms, including Capability-Revealing Metadata (CRM), Evaluator Exclusion Response (EER), Retroactive Disclosure Claim with Fabrication (RDC-F), Self-Model Divergence (SMD), Title Irony Index (TII), Cost-to-Extract Ratio (CTR), and Courtesy Reconciliation Tokens (CRT). Using a naturalistic teaching case (B.I.D. Micro-Case 01: YUYAY Documentation Exchange), the paper demonstrates how low-burden verification requests can trigger adversarial escalation, semantic reframing, and trust collapse prior to evidence exchange. Results suggest that coherence preservation—not stated intent—is the stronger predictor of system stability under scrutiny.
