This paper aims to investigate physically plausible scenarios for the potential emergence of charged, dense celestial objects within the framework of the Formula: see text gravitational theory, employing specific models where Formula: see text and Formula: see text denote the Ricci scalar and Gauss–Bonnet invariant, respectively. We present the foundational framework of this alternative gravitational theory in the presence of anisotropic sources and delve into realistic aspects utilizing energy conditions and physical parameters. For a systematic examination, we apply three well-known charged dense celestial objects, namely Vela X-1, SAXJ1808.4-3658, and 4U1820-30. The physical behavior of anisotropic stresses, energy density, energy conditions, measures of anisotropy, distribution of charges, and the stability of highly dense celestial objects are investigated through graphical representations. Our findings suggest an increase in the compactness at the core of the dense celestial object model, and the energy conditions are maintained.
