ABSTRACTThis study examines financial planning efficiency and investment diversification practicesamong household investors in Andhra Pradesh, India. Using a structured questionnaire, datawere collected from 150 household investors selected through stratified random sampling acrossurban and rural segments. Statistical analysis (descriptive statistics, chi-square, correlation, andregression) was performed using SPSS 21 and Microsoft Excel. Findings reveal moderate levelsof financial planning efficiency and limited diversification, with financial literacy, income, andeducation emerging as significant predictors of better investment behavior. The study concludeswith practical suggestions to improve financial awareness and portfolio diversification amonghouseholds.
