Abstract : The research aims to analyze how employment and income level influence investment decisions, with financial literacy as an intermediary variable. The method of data analysis used in this study is the SEM (Structural Equation Model) with the Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach, which is operated with Smart PLS 3.0 software. Research findings show that job and income level have a significant impact on investment decision. Apart from that, both also influence financial literacy, which in turn influences the investment decisions of the millennial generation students. The practical implication of this research is that job and income level play an important role in increasing the financial literacy understanding of millennial generation students, which ultimately has a positive impact on their investment decisions become better. This research has social implications for millennial generation students to understand financial literacy and the factors that influence them in investing.
