With the rapid development of short-video platforms, the dissemination of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) has an era characterized by spectacle. By taking Debord's "society of the spectacle" theory as the analytical perspective, and combining the cases of well-known ICH short-video bloggers such as Li Ziqi, Jiang Xunqian, and Nanxiang Bu Ai Chi Fan, this paper analyzes the spectacle characteristics such as symbolization, consumption, and performance presented in the dissemination process of ICH short videos, revealing the transformation of ICH short videos in the survival of the spectacle society. The research finds that the essence of ICH may be at risk of transforming from "practice" to "performance" and eroding the subjectivity of ICH. Although it has enhanced the popularity and dissemination reach of ICH in the short term, it may weaken the authenticity of ICH culture in the long run. Only by adhering to dynamic inheritance and cultural consciousness can the international influence of Chinese ICH culture be effectively enhanced.
