In recent years, the use of game form of lexical and grammatical exercises in teaching foreign languages is becoming more and more popular in China. The article is devoted to the issue of using game-based pedagogical technologies in teaching Chinese students oral communication in Russian. The aim is to develop a methodology of teaching oral communication in Russian using game technologies. To achieve it, this article describes a number of methods, such as studying theoretical works, analyzing the experience of teaching Russian as a foreign language in Chinese universities and interviews. The study reflects the relevance of gamification of exercises in the framework of teaching Russian as a foreign language, presents an analysis of game methods of work and modern services for gamification used in the work of Chinese universities. As a result, the model of introducing game technologies into the system of exercises for teaching oral foreign language speech proposed by L.L. Vokhmina, AS. Kuvaeva and S.A Khavronina is presented.
