In March 2020, a salvage excavation was conducted in H ammat Tiberias National Park (Permit No. A-8696; map ref. 251915–45/741365–94; Fig. 1) prior to the construction of an electrical control room and the diversion of a water pipeline. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Mekorot Company, was directed by N. Harash (field photography), with the assistance of Y. Ya‘akobi and Y. Lavan (administration), M. Peleg (surveying and 3D model), H. Tahan-Rosen (finds drawing and plans), W. Atrash and E. Dalali-Amos (pottery) and U. Berger (scientific guidance), A.
