Gender disparities in educational attainment persist in Northern Nigeria, affecting both girls' and boys' access to quality education. A qualitative policy analysis approach was employed, reviewing existing literature, government documents, and interviews with stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of current educational policies. The review revealed significant disparities favoring male students in enrollment rates and quality education provision across Northern Nigeria's schools. Current educational policies inadequately address gender-specific needs, leading to unequal opportunities for girls compared to boys. Recommendation 1: Enhance funding specifically allocated to support girls' education initiatives. Recommendation 2: Develop tailored curricula that emphasise the importance of girl's education and its benefits.
