While pseudoscience and science denial have long been associated with fringe political movements, in recent years, both have become more strongly associated with right-wing ideologies. Within the same time period, political views once regarded as fringe have become increasingly influential, particularly within the politics of the USA. This paper discusses an attempt by a notable figure associated with the “alt-right” and “Christian Nationalism” to develop a general epistemological approach aligned with the broader ideology. This paper examines one attempt to apply the approach to a historical question in epistemology (the Munchhausen or Agrippan Trilemma) and discusses the ways in which this approach fails in multiple ways.
