The study examines rural clinics in Uganda to assess their impact on clinical outcomes. The study employs a difference-in-differences approach to analyse data from rural clinics in Uganda. A statistical model is employed as Dᵢ (t) = eta₀ + eta₁ Treatmentₜ + eta₂ RuralClinicₜ + eta₃ (Treatmentₜ imes RuralClinicₜ) + uᵢ, where Dᵢ (t) represents the outcome for individual i at time t, and DID estimates are calculated using robust standard errors to account for potential confounding factors. Rural clinics showed a significant improvement in patient recovery rates by 15% compared to non-clinic areas, with a confidence interval of ±2. 5%. The difference-in-differences model effectively highlights the positive impact of rural health systems on clinical outcomes. Further research should be conducted to replicate these findings in other regions and consider long-term sustainability measures for rural clinics.
