The watching brief involved the monitoring of a 14m x 12m area of a new single house plot. The works were conducted by a tracked excavator equipped with toothless ditching bucket. Natural comprised of a mid pinkish silty clay overlain by a mid brown clayey loam. Modern detritus was observed in the west of the area. No significant archaeological finds or features were encountered during the watching brief.
