The AMR comprised the observation by a competent archaeologist of all intrusive groundworks associated with the proposed development. These works comprised the machine excavation of foundation and service trenches. Between April and July 2025, Cotswold Archaeology carried out a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording during groundworks associated with a housing development at Parcel 3511, Silver Street, Midsomer Norton, Bath and North East Somerset. No features or deposits of archaeological interest were observed and no artefactual material was recovered.
